Seven days to change your mind, and no time limit on our mistakes.
Two different things get confused here: your statutory right to cancel an online purchase, and what happens when we get an order wrong. They work differently, so they are separated below.

Your 7-day cooling-off right
Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act gives you seven days from delivery to cancel this purchase without giving a reason. You return the module unused and in its packaging, and we refund what you paid for it. Under the Act you carry the cost of returning the goods.
“Unused” means not installed. Once a module has been wired into a vehicle it is no longer in the condition the Act contemplates, so if you want to exercise this right, please ask us first and fit it second.
If we sent the wrong module
Different situation, and entirely our cost. We confirm fitment against your VIN before dispatch, so if what arrives does not suit your car, we arrange the courier, we pay for it, and we either send the right one or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. There is no deadline on this, because it is our error rather than your change of mind.
If it is faulty
Within six months, the Consumer Protection Act gives you the choice of a repair, a replacement or a refund, and that choice is yours rather than ours. After six months, our own two-year exchange warranty applies. Being named as importer of record on the customs entry changes none of this: we sold you the goods, so we answer for them. How refunds are paid
Back to the method you paid with, within ten business days of us receiving the return. Instant EFT payments are refunded by bank transfer to the account the payment came from.
What we cannot refund
- A module damaged by installation, such as power taken from the wrong circuit.
- A unit that has been opened or had its case broken.
- Import duty and VAT already paid to SARS on a consignment you cancel after it has cleared. We pay these on your behalf, and SARS does not refund them to us, so we will itemise the actual amount honestly rather than estimate it.
